Big La Doing Big Things: Episode III

Here's my 3rd show! I'm looking at turning this into a podcast, but i have to be very careful of copyright infringement. It's a new medium and they're looking for a sacrificial lamb to prove a point. so in the meantime, enjoy the radio.blog goodness:
Check It Out: Big La Doing Big Things: EPISODE III
* Songs Contain Explicit Language. Listener Be Advised
- Intro*
New intro! Had to do something special the rekick this off. I love the beginning of the that LL Cool J song "Headsprung", so i wanted it to be the foundation of the intro. I like it. Gonna use it!!! - Onion Head - Sean Price*
This song really blew me away! To here Sean Price back in action was dope! - You Don't Have To Worry (Big La Remix) - New Edition
This was something my boy Sean suggested. I love the way this beat goes with the accapella. Nothing real special. Just something to test the beat out. Tell me what you think.... - Better Together - Lalah Hathaway
I didn't pick this up because I heard the album wasn't that great. But then I heard this song on the radio and flipped! This is classic Lalah. I need to pick up this CD quick. - Go (Remix) - Common f/ Kanye West*
This was one of my favorite songs off of the new album. And the remix is sick! Just a little more soulish. I'm glad Common's come back from that Electric Circus fiasco. I shouldn't say fiasco. If it was from anyone else, i would'a enjoyed it. But we're talking about Common, B!tches!!! - Love Still Remains - Seal
His "Human Beings" CD is incredible! Not his best selling material, but it connected with me. I heard this was the stuff he made while he was braking up with Tyra Banks. I can hear your pain, dude. I can feel it!! - For The Record - Kaze*
Another 9th Wonder joint that I stumbled on. Kaze's "Spirit of '94" CD is just as on point as all the other Justus League stuff put out. It's a little old, but i just heard it last week, so i'm bumpin' it until it goes out of style. Fo sho.... - Slippin' - Buckshot f/ 9th Wonder*
Yep! 9th Wonder again! Are you starting to figure out he's my favorite producer of hte moment? - Paradise Lost - Hasan Salaam f/ DJ Craig Rip
I was vibin' to Craig Rip's instrumental joints back in the day on illmuzik.com. I'd download this beats and put 'em into rotation. A short while ago, he found me when he googled his music online. From there i got access to the new hotness! Keep 'em coming, mayne... Keep 'em coming.... - Why (Remix) - Jadakiss f/ Styles P, Common, Nas*
I didn't like the original too much. But what can you do when Nas shows up to bless you with a track? Everybody comes off on this. Common and Nas on the same track... man.... - Nobody Knows Me - Aya
Aya was a blessing from iTunes. I didn't know about her until my man EJ Flavors mention her. From there, this cut has been in heavy rotation from day one. The CD is tight. Go cop it... - Bobby James - NERD*
I'm not a big fan of the Neptunes stuff. It all the sounds the same. Saved, the dope Sade remix of "By Your Side", this one is in heavy rotation. - High Powered - Symbolyc and Illmind f/ The Percussionists
The CD "Art Of One Mind" is crazy! When you got Strange Fruit Project, Little Brother, El Da Sensei blessing you, you can't go wrong. Keep your ears open for ILLmind. He's gonna caryy major weight pretty soon. - Hangin' On A String (Contemplating) - Loose Ends
The classic, of course... EJ had to blessing me with this one. Loose Ends? Very nice. If you got a 'Soul Classic' playlist, this one if a manditory essential. - Love Has A Place In Time - Sirius B Project
This is a group Honey hooked me too. Straight up R&B/Soul stuff. More of a Hidden Beach vibe. I haven't got a chance to go through the entire CD, but this is a track that stands out in my ears. Bravo, Honey. I needed this... - Free - Destiny's Child
The ex-girl group leaves us with a small gem. I really dig the chorus of this song. I'm not a big Destiny 's Child fan. But they do dig some of their stuff from time to time
