The Kicks In The Gut Keep On Coming

For those of you who remember, I had a series of massive hard drive crashes where I lost (and recovered) my 20,000+ collecion of MP3s. It turns out, the Windows XP box I have my Music drive plugged into didn't like agree with anything 'firewire' related so it would fry anything I had plugged into it.
Well, 6 drives (including 2 iPods) later, I figured it out. But not before I lost half of my collection. It took me weeks to adjust, but I managed to get through it. The hard part now is remembering all the stuff (some of it rare, irreplacable stuff!) that I lost. And I usually find out when I'm in the mood to do some head nodding.
This morning I was watching the DVD "The MC" and heard KRS One talking about how "you must own something from the NWA library. Whether it's Dr. Dre, or Ice Cube..."
"Ice Cube? Dope! Today will be Ice Cube day!!!"
So I pop open my iTunes and punch up a search for my man Cube. And what a kick in the nuts it was to find out that I only "15" ICe Cube tracks when I had a deep collection of "80" that I had! "Amerikkka's Most Wanted", "Kill At Will", "Death Certificate"... all gone... Only thing I have now is his "St. Ides Commercials".
I need a drink...
