Does Whatever A Spider Can...

My guilty pleasure right now is downloading comic books off of Bit Torrent. WAIT! Before you Graphic Novel Nazi's give me a tounge lashing, just know that 90% of the ones i'm downloading are the same ones I have in boxes packed away in my garage and the other 10% are one's that i'm sampling to see if I want to spend my hard earned money on subscriptions. One of the coolest comics i've come across is Spider-Man. I've been back tracking through the past couple years (in anticipation for the movie) and i've been very impressed. These days, Spidey's hangin' out with Tony Stark (Iron-Man), and has reaped the fruits of their friendship, in the way of a new Spidey Suit:

AND coming pretty soon, Spider-Man 3's gonna hit the big screen, dealing with my favorite Spidey Storyline: The Alien Venom Black Suit. Don't know how they're gonna handle it but I can't wait to see it.

I'm with you, I like the Venom storyline. Personally, I'd love to see a 4th Spiderman that deals with Carnage also. Better yet, Carnage AND Venom in the same movie.

I hate the new suit but the Spider-Man 3 trailer looks incredibly good and, if you haven't, you should check out Reginald Hudlin's run on the Marvel Knights version of Spider-Man and the Brian Michael Bendis written Ultimate Spider-Man. The Ultimate Universe is where the really good work is going on in the Marvel Universe (well, the Ultimate Universe and in Black Panther). I'm reading New Avengers (Bendis) and Astonishing X-Men (Joss Whedon) in the normal universe but I can't really get with the rest.
